Transaction fees

Every trade buys or sells an Etherfuse asset. Entering a Stablebond is free, leaving one costs 5 bps, and crossing currencies uses that market's FX fee. When a trade crosses two markets, the higher of the two markets' FX fees applies. Your quote always shows the exact fee before you confirm.

1 bps (basis point) = 0.01%.

How fees work

Within one currency, fees are flat:

  • Cash into its Stablebond (for example, MXN → CETES): 0 bps

  • Stablebond back to cash (CETES → MXN): 5 bps

  • Cash to or from its Principal Token (MXN ↔ MEXe): 0 bps

  • Principal Token into its Stablebond (MEXe → CETES): 0 bps

  • Stablebond into its Principal Token (CETES → MEXe): 5 bps

Across currencies, the fee comes from that market's FX table and gets lower as you scale. Your tier is set by your combined 30-day volume across all markets.

Example: converting $1,000,000 of MXN to USDC with under $5M of 30-day volume uses Mexico FX at 20 bps, so the fee is $2,000.

Brazil

US dollar

All three assets are in US dollars, so no FX fee applies. Buying USTRY is free and selling it back is 5 bps.

Eurozone (EUROB)

EUROB is bought and sold against USDC, USDT, or another market's assets. There are no euro bank transfers.

Eurozone FX

United Kingdom (GILTS)

GILTS is bought and sold against USDC, USDT, or another market's assets. There are no sterling bank transfers.

Between markets

When a trade moves between two markets, the higher of the two markets' FX fees applies. For example, CETES → GILTS uses Mexico FX, and CETES → TESOURO uses Brazil FX.
